The Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls, known locally as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (the Smoke that Thunders), is one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders. Straddling the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, the falls are renowned for their immense width and powerful flow, which create a stunning curtain of water that cascades down 108 meters.

Visitors can experience the falls from various viewpoints, with opportunities for guided tours, scenic helicopter flights, and thrilling activities like bungee jumping and white-water rafting. The surrounding rainforest and the Zambezi River’s diverse wildlife add to the allure of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
