The Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls, known as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (the Smoke that Thunders), is one of the most magnificent natural wonders in the world. Situated on the Zambezi River, straddling the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the falls create a breathtaking spectacle as water plunges over 100 meters into the Zambezi Gorge.

Visitors to the Zimbabwean side can explore several viewing platforms that offer dramatic perspectives of the falls and the surrounding rainforest. Activities include guided tours, scenic helicopter flights, and exhilarating adventures like bungee jumping and white-water rafting. The falls are a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-see destination for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike.
