Day 1: Windhoek

Once arrived, you can enjoy the amenities of the hotel or choose one of the many activities on sight such as mountain biking, self guided walks or game drives. The capital Windhoek ist the heart of Namibia and possesses a unique charm due to its harmonious blend of African and European impacts.

Day 2: Windhoek – Sossusvlei

You leave Windhoek and continue your drive towards Sossusvlei, which is world famous. It is situated within the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world. Sossusvlei is both the name for the area in general as well as an enormous clay pan, flanked by huge sand dunes. Nearby, at the foot of some these dunes the skeletons of trees dominate the landscape, where once water flowed. This is known as Dead Vlei. Once arrived your destination you can relax and enjoy the lodge facilities

Once you have entered the Namib Naukluft National Park you will make your way along the paved road to Dune 45, which is the most photographed dune in the world - a good opportunity, to climb this famous 170m tall giant. Afterwards you will continue the trip on the paved road to the car park to meet the 4x4 transfer which will take you the Deadvlei and/or Sossusvlei.

It was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952 and as many as 40,000 people a year now visit the site, making it one of the more popular tourist destinations in Namibia. Also the Petrified Forest ist worth a visit. The trees of Petrified Forest were uprooted some 200 million years ago and were swept along by rivers in flood, covered by sediments and then subsequently uncovered by erosion. The rest of the day is free to spend some time at leisure and recreation.

Day 7: Khorixas – Etosha National Park

Todays stage will take you to the Etosha National Park, the gateway to northern Namibia and Ovamboland. This National Park is Namibia’s prime wildlife location and home to the largest variety of mammals and birds in Namibia. Ethosha means ‚the great white area‘ this refers to large dried pan in the middle of the Etosha park. At the Etosha Safari lodge you have a choice of dining in the intriguing 'township' dining rooms, around fireplaces in the cooler months or outside in the courtyard where The Etosha Boys strum guitars and sing lively local songs.

In the early morning you will enter the Etosha National Park through Anderson Gate and head to Namutoni Camp. Here you will leave your tour guide behind and be transported by park guides to the newly built Onkoshi Eco Camp. Onkoshi is a low impact camp that runs mainly on solar power. It is situated well off the public self drive routes and sits right on the border of the parks’ characteristic 5000 sq. meter salt pan. Views from the camp reach far into the horizon and the sunrises and sunsets are simply incredible. In the afternoon you will be taken on an open vehicle game drive to convince yourself of the impressive beauty of the Etosha National Park.

Day 9: Etosha National Park – Erindi Private Game Reserve
