Itinerary

Day 1: Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa! On arrival in Cape Town you will be greeted by your local tour guide and accompanied to your hotel. Get to know the city by seeing the Company's Garden, the V & A Waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium or the Long Street.

Day 2: Cape Town – Table Mountain

Today you will be enjoying one of the biggest cities of Africa. During a Day tour of Cape Town, you will get to know all the interesting facts and experience the whole variety of diversity the city has to offer. Also, take a trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years in prison (not included). After that, ascend the Table Mountain via aerial cableway in the late afternoon to watch the stunning view as the sun sinks into the western horizon and the city lights start to sparkle. Table Mountain is South Africa’s most photographed attraction.

Day 3: Cape Town - Boulders Beach & Cape Point Nature Reserve

Today you will take a tour of the Cape Peninsula. Discover the coasts kilometers of white sandy beaches, past the fishing village of Hout Bay on Boulders Beach. A special attraction is the penguin colony living on the beach as Boulders Beach is home to a breeding colony of over 2000 endangered African Penguins. From there continue towards the nature reserve. Discover many animals, including antelopes, ostriches and baboons. Off the coast, you can see whales, dolphins and seals. Highlight of the day is the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, where you have a stunning view of the National Park.

Day 4: Cape Winelands

Today you drive along the stunning Garden Route and make your way to Stellenbosch the second oldest town in South Africa. You will pass through the magnificent and vast vineyard landscapes of the famous winelands. Due to the approximately 300 sunny days in the Cape Town region over 200 years ago, the Huguenots started the progress of wine making. Today wine estates in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl are world famous and their wines highly awarded. The visit of a wine farm including wine tasting is a must and a feast for the senses! Your guide will be able to give you more details on the various wine farms, which can be visited. Farms such as Boschendal, Vergelegen and Morgenster are always popular, or you can go for something different and enjoy chocolate and wine tastings at Blaauwklippen, or cheese and wine tastings at Fairview farm (tastings for own account).

Day 5: Cape Town - Karongwe Private Game Reserve

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Cape Town International Airport for your flight (excluded) to Johannesburg International Airport where you will be met by another guide and transferred to Karongwe Private Game Reserve near the Kruger National Park. Karongwe Game Reserve is an untamed garden of Eden where the spoor of wildlife invites you to explore the timeless beauty of the bush; an oasis of unimaginable luxury provides the greatest vantage point to the Big Five and its vast, untouched wilderness.

Day 6 and 7: Karongwe Private Game Reserve 

On today’s day, you will explore Karongwe Private Game Reserve through morning and afternoon open vehicle game drives, which are included. Your daily Safari Program starts with an early morning wake up and morning coffee, followed by a Morning Safari and a comprehensive breakfast. Then enjoy the broad variety nature has to offer during your stay at Karongwe Private Game Reserve. Enjoy yourself until it’s time for Lunch and relax during the midday heat. After a refreshing Afternoon tea, enjoy your Afternoon Safari whilst looking out for the Big 5. If you desire, a private game drive or visit to the endangered species center (HESC) in the area can be arranged. Also a full day game drive in the Kruger National Park can be arranged.

Day 8: Karongwe Private Game Reserve - Johannesburg – Zambia (Livingstone)

This morning, board a charter flight (included) back to Johannesburg International Airport from where you will take a regional flight (excluded) to Livingstone International Airport (Zambia). On arrival in Zambia, you will be met by a hotel representative and transferred to your accommodation. Take the rest of the day for leisure and enjoy your break from everyday life.

Day 9: Livingstone

Today you will enjoy a trip to the world famous Victoria Falls and experience the “magic” of the falls during a guided tour. In the afternoon, enjoy an unforgettable sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. 

If you wish Helicopter flips over the falls, white water rafting on the Zambezi River, gorge hikes or other safari activities can be arranged as well

Day 10: Livingstone - Johannesburg - Departure

Your Africa adventure ends today. You are being transferred to Livingstone International Airport for your return flight (not included) to Johannesburg International Airport. Followed by your international flight back home.
