Malawi, officially the Republic of Malawi, is a landlocked country in southeast Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland.
It is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, and Mozambique on the east, south and west. Malawi is diverse as the entire country Africa: either stunning landscapes, wildlife, beautiful lakeshores, very friendly people or lots of culture and history – it offers something for everyone!

A special highlight is the Lake Malawi, which was described as the “jewel of the tourist attractions of the country”. It is the third largest lake in Africa and the ninth largest in the world.
